Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia seeks an experienced Diamond Driller to support exploration and mine development drilling programs in Papua New Guinea. You will operate diamond drill rigs, optimize core recovery, and collaborate with geologists, maintenance teams, and mining personnel in remote site environments.

The role requires 3–5 years of diamond drilling experience, relevant technical certifications, and strong safety discipline.

Qualifications

Technical certification, trade qualification, drilling certification, mining-related training, or equivalent practical industry experience.
Proven experience operating diamond drill rigs in mining or exploration.
Ability to work in remote, camp-based environments and rotational rosters.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and monitor diamond drill rigs to support exploration, resource definition, and mine development drilling programs.
Achieve planned drilling targets, productivity objectives, and operational performance requirements.
Deliver high-quality core recovery in accordance with geological and exploration standards.
Ensure accurate core handling, sample management, and core presentation throughout drilling activities.
Conduct routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and consumables management to maximize equipment availability.
Perform first-line troubleshooting and support corrective actions to minimize downtime.
