Job summary

Principle Partners Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Treasury Director to build and lead a new global treasury operations function. You will establish a scalable operating model, strengthen controls and standardise processes across regions to drive operational excellence.

The role requires leading teams, partnering with regional Treasury groups, and overseeing banking documentation and audits while exploring technology-driven efficiency through automation and AI.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of treasury/finance experience in multinational environment.
• Strong background in treasury operations, cash management and payment processes.
• Experience building or scaling treasury operations, shared services or global support functions.
• Solid knowledge of governance, controls, audit and operational risk.

A leading global technology and financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Treasury Director to build and lead a new global treasury operations function in Kuala Lumpur.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a global Treasury Services team, creating a scalable operating model
• Oversee global payment controls and act as an authorised payment approver
• Partner closely with regional treasury teams to ensure operational resilience and business continuity
• Oversee banking documentation, bank reviews and annual audit confirmations
• Drive consistency and governance across global treasury processes and documentationManage global e-banking administration and support effective bank account governance
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology, automation and AI

What We're Looking For

• 10-15 years of experience across treasury and/or finance, ideally within a multinational environment
• Strong background in treasury operations, cash management and payment processes
• Experience building, leading or scaling treasury operations, shared services or global support functions
• Strong understanding of controls, governance, audit and operational risk
• Familiarity with TMS platforms, banking technology, e-banking and process automation
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across multiple regions
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline; professional qualifications are advantageous
