Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a senior Research Management professional to lead research governance, grant administration, and performance reporting. You will drive capacity building, collaboration, and strategic initiatives across the department.

The role requires 5+ years in research management or related fields, with a track record in governance, funding, and stakeholder engagement. A PhD is preferred and a PM/RM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant discipline.
• PhD is highly desirable.
• Certification in Research Management or Project Management is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement research policies; ensure compliance with requirements; manage records; coordinate ethics and governance.
• Identify funding opportunities; prepare, submit, and administer grants; monitor utilisation and reporting.
• Monitor indicators; prepare reports and dashboards; support strategic planning and productivity.
• Organise training and development; support staff in strengthening research competencies; promote excellence.
• Build relationships with agencies and partners; facilitate MoUs and joint projects; represent the university.
• Lead staff; manage budgets and resources; ensure service delivery and continuous improvement.
