Job summary

pitchIN seeks a dynamic Head of P2P Financing in Kuala Lumpur to lead the launch and growth of a regulated P2P lending platform. You will shape underwriting, risk management, and product strategy while ensuring regulatory alignment and stakeholder support.

You will build and guide a cross-functional team covering underwriting, customer service, marketing, and compliance, driving growth, profitability, and excellent borrower/lender experience in a rapidly evolving market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial lending, corporate banking, or related lending role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Deep knowledge of Malaysian financial regulatory landscape, especially in relation to P2P lending and capital markets.
• Proven track record in launching and scaling financial products or platforms.
• Strong leadership and people management skills to inspire cross-functional teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Desirable familiarity with digital platforms, data analytics, and fintech trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop underwriting and credit risk framework for commercial lending.
• Lead the design and execution of a new P2P lending platform aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure robust risk management and governance structures.
• Oversee end-to-end platform development including tech, operations, and UX design.
• Build and manage a high-performing team across underwriting, customer service, marketing, and compliance.
• Cultivate relationships with regulators, financial institutions, investors, and partners.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement for growth and profitability.
• Champion a customer-first culture with transparent, accessible lending services.
