The Head of Marketing is a senior regional leadership role responsible for driving a commercially effective and creatively strong marketing strategy across Southeast Asia, covering markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role serves as the regional custodian of the Anytime Fitness brand, balancing brand stewardship, performance marketing, and franchisee support to drive sustainable growth, member acquisition, and network profitability.

The role requires close collaboration with regional and country teams, franchisees, corporate club operations, and cross‑functional leaders to deliver integrated marketing solutions aligned with each market’s maturity, objectives, and commercial realities.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Develop and execute end-to-end annual regional marketing plans aligned with business priorities and market conditions
  • Lead integrated marketing across digital, offline, events, partnerships, PR, trade marketing, and branding
  • Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Manage the regional marketing budget and track performance, ROI, and funnel effectiveness
Brand Leadership & Custodianship
  • Safeguard and strengthen the Anytime Fitness brand across all markets
  • Ensure brand consistency, quality, and compliance across franchise and corporate clubs
  • Drive brand awareness, consideration, and reputation with consumers, media, franchisees, and partners
  • Manage ad‑hoc brand or reputational issues and crisis situations when they arise
Franchisee & Business Support
  • Partner closely with franchisees and corporate club teams to support unit‑level performance and member growth
  • Translate market and franchisee needs into relevant campaigns, playbooks, tools and training programmes
  • Support Franchise Development initiatives with demand‑generation and market entry strategies
  • Uplift marketing capability across the network through structured training and enablement
Leadership, Culture & Systems
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing regional marketing team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, creativity and data‑driven decision making
  • Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Franchise Support, L&D, HR, IT, Finance and Compliance
  • Contribute to regional planning, annual conferences and joint business planning initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing systems, processes and technology stack
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles
  • Proven experience leading multi‑market or regional marketing teams, ideally in Asia
  • Strong balance of brand strategy, performance marketing and commercial thinking
  • Experience working with franchise or multi‑unit business models is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills across cultures
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies
  • Prior exposure to the fitness, wellness or consumer lifestyle industry (professional or personal)
