Job summary

SEGi University & Colleges in Malaysia seeks an experienced leader to oversee the School of IT, coordinate teaching, services and academic development across departments.

You will drive business development through market research, collaborate with Marketing on partnerships, seminars and forums, and ensure programme development and profitability.

Applicants should hold a PhD in IT or related field, with 5–7 years in higher education or management, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD in IT or IT-related disciplines.
• Minimum 5–7 years of working and/or teaching experience, preferably in higher education.
• Strong knowledge in AI, cybersecurity and/or data science with relevant specialisation or industry experience.
• Familiarity with the Malaysian higher education landscape and MQA requirements preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact at all levels.
• Ability to manage lecturers, support staff, students and parents.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate teaching, services and activities for the School of IT and academic affairs development.
• Coordinate and develop business development activities through market research and analysis.
• Collaborate with Marketing on smart partnerships, projects, seminars and forums.
• Responsible for programmes development, financials and profitability of SoIT programmes.
