Qualifications

• PhD in a related specialization and a basic degree in CS/SE/DS/IS/IT.
• Expertise in Software Engineering, AI, Cybersecurity or Data Sciences is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in the related field; programme coordination is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong command of written and spoken English.
• Engage in research and report findings via papers or patents; collaborate with departments for enrolment initiatives.
• Willingness to participate in university activities and provide pastoral care.

Responsibilities

• Review, update and develop lesson plans, schemes of work, lectures and assessments in line with syllabus.
• Deliver lectures, tutorials and workshops; facilitate student learning.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Monitor and report student progress and attendance.
• Contribute to exam development, marking and assessment administration.
• Provide academic counselling and pastoral care to students.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing to boost enrolment through seminars and open days.
• Engage in research and disseminate findings.
