Job summary

Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa in Malaysia — a 101-room luxury resort located near Gunung Mulu National Park — seeks an experienced engineering leader to oversee all maintenance operations across the property and grounds. You will ensure safety, asset protection and regulatory compliance while guiding energy conservation efforts and preventive maintenance.

The role includes budgeting, capital projects, and leading the emergency response team for facility issues at the resort.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area.
• HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing technical training.
• 2-year degree option with related major and 2 years experience in engineering and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all engineering/maintenance operations, including building, grounds and physical plant with emphasis on safety, security and asset protection.
• Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation.
• Responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements.
• Lead the emergency response team for all facility issues.
