Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Pasona Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Head of Collection (Senior Manager / Manager) to lead end-to-end collections operations, balance risk and recovery targets, and drive performance across the portfolio.

The role covers legal recovery, asset repossession, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales and other departments to improve efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily collections activities, overdue HP accounts, recovery strategies, performance, recovery ratios, and portfolio quality against KPIs and financial targets.
• Manage legal recovery processes, including legal actions, court proceedings, contested cases, documentation reviews, panel solicitors, settlements, and enforcement actions.
• Oversee repossession, storage, auction, disposal of recovered assets, and maximizing recovery value.
• Supervise and develop Collections, Litigation, Loan Monitoring, and Assets & Disposal teams; collaborate with Sales and internal departments.
• Monitor budgets and KPIs, prepare management reports, update recovery policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements to enhance recovery outcomes and efficiency.

Litigation & Legal Recovery: Manage legal recovery processes, including legal actions, court proceedings, contested cases, documentation reviews, panel solicitors, settlements, and enforcement actions.

Repossession & Asset Disposal: Oversee repossession, storage, auction, tender, ownership transfers, and disposal of recovered assets while maximizing recovery value.

Team & Stakeholder Management: Supervise and develop Collections, Litigation, Loan Monitoring, and Assets & Disposal teams while collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and internal departments.

Policy, Compliance & Performance Improvement: Monitor budgets and KPIs, prepare management reports, update recovery policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements to enhance recovery outcomes and efficiency.
