Job summary

FWD Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Agency Strategy Management in Malaysia to lead agency growth, recruitment, and leadership development. The role focuses on aligning recruitment with risk governance and Shariah compliance, while driving activation and productivity across FWDT and FWDIB.

You will collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and Operations to ensure sustainable agency health and regulatory alignment, reporting to senior management on key metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; master’s degree preferred.
• 12–15 years of experience in insurance/takaful agency distribution.
• Proven track record in agency strategy, recruitment and manpower scaling.
• Strong experience in managing large agency networks and leadership structures.
• Experience across takaful and/or conventional insurance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop distinct agency growth strategies for FWDT and FWDIB aligned with Board-approved plans.
• Translate targets into actionable agency execution plans using balanced scorecard principles.
• Lead recruitment transformation, governance, and activation programmes with risk controls.
• Ensure Shariah compliance and data privacy in recruitment and onboarding.
