Job summary

Sime Darby Auto Selection in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Sourcing Leader to drive vehicle procurement and inventory strategies.

You will oversee sourcing from trade-ins, auctions, and dealer networks, lead appraisal and negotiations, and build strong partnerships with banks, fleet operators, and dealers.

This role requires leadership to guide the sourcing team and deliver KPIs in a dynamic automotive retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet inventory and business targets.
• Source used vehicles via trade-ins, direct purchases, auctions, dealer networks, fleet disposals, and corporate partnerships.
• Lead vehicle appraisal, valuation, and acquisition negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, financial institutions, fleet operators, and other key partners.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, inventory mix, and stock turnover.
• Lead and develop the sourcing team to achieve departmental KPIs.
