Job summary

Regent Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Chef De Cuisine to lead the kitchen brigade across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, translating Malaysia's culinary heritage into every dish. You will drive training, uphold IHG guidelines, and ensure top-notch guest experiences in a design-led, vibrant setting.

This role requires strong leadership, a passion for Malaysian cuisine, and the ability to inspire teams while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and service quality.

Qualifications

• Degree or Vocational Certificate in a recognised field.
• 5–7 years in a kitchen/supervisory role, with at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Genuine appreciation for and knowledge of Malaysian cuisine and culinary heritage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen brigade for the restaurant, translating Malaysia's culinary heritage into every dish.
• Develop training plans with the Director of Food & Beverage and Training Manager to uphold IHG guidelines.
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and grooming standards across kitchen staff.
• Schedule weekly work plans aligned with business needs and KPIs.
• Maintain high-quality breakfast, lunch, and dinner service with live stations.
