Job summary

Arista Networks in Malaysia is seeking a Hardware NPI Engineer to drive end-to-end prototype builds, from design through manufacturing. You will lead DFx reviews and ensure robust production through rigorous debugging and collaboration with hardware, manufacturing and test teams.

The role requires 4–8 years in hardware/NPI and travel readiness across Asia/USA. A strong foundation in schematics, layouts and lab diagnostics is essential, with English fluency as a must and additional Malay or

Qualifications

A-BSEE degree required; MSEE strongly desired; mechanical aptitude is a plus.
4–8 years in Hardware, NPI, Sustaining and/or Test Eng within Networking/AI/GPU/Computing.
Expertise in system-level debugging and root-cause analysis; proficient with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
Knowledge of IPC, JEDEC; experience with complex Fab structures (VIPPO, backdrill) and electro/mechanical systems.
Passport ready and able to travel to CM sites in Asia and the USA.
Fluency in English is a must; Malay and/or Vietnamese fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end prototype builds with Hardware, Manufacturing and Test Eng teams.
Drive DFx reviews to translate findings into robust product generations.
Lead complex root-cause analysis and system repairs to support production quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor CM partners for high-quality production.
