Job summary

Arista Networks Malaysia Sdn. Bhd is seeking a Hardware NPI / Debug Engineer for a transformational hybrid role bridging design and manufacturing. You will own early prototype builds, drive DFx reviews, and mentor CM partners to uphold high production quality across Asia and the USA.

You will work with high-density PCBs, advanced interconnects, and thermal management in cutting-edge data center networking hardware, requiring strong debugging and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

BSEE degree required; MSEE strongly desired.
4–8 years in Hardware, NPI, Sustaining and/or Test Engineering in Networking/AI/GPU domains.
Strong system-level debugging and lab-tool proficiency.
Knowledge of IPC/JEDEC, VIPPO/backdrill, and electro/mechanical systems.
Willing to travel to CM sites in Asia and the USA; passport ready.
Fluent English; Malay and/or Vietnamese desirable.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Prototype Leadership: own early prototype builds with cross-functional teams.
Influence Product Design through DFx (DFM/DFT/DFQ/DFR) reviews and findings.
Systems Debug & Technical Mastery: lead root-cause analysis and repairs.
Strategic Collaboration & Mentorship: partner with CM and internal teams; mentor factory staff.
