Job summary

Arista Networks in Malaysia is seeking a Hardware NPI / Debug Engineer to lead early prototype builds for high‑density data center hardware. You’ll bridge design and manufacturing, ensuring quality from concept through production releases and working with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires a solid foundation in electrical engineering (BSEE, MSEE preferred), 4–8 years in hardware NPI or test engineering, and hands‑on experience with lab instruments.

Qualifications

• BSEE or higher is required; MSEE is strongly desired.
• 4 to 8 years of hardware NPI, sustaining, or test engineering experience.
• Strong system-level debugging and problem solving.
• Familiarity with IPC/JEDEC standards and complex fab structures.

Responsibilities

• End‑to‑End Prototype Leadership: own early prototype builds with cross‑functional teams.
• Influence Product Design through DFx reviews and schematics/ layouts.
• Systems Debug & Technical Mastery: lead root‑cause analysis and repairs.
• Strategic Collaboration & Mentorship with internal teams and CM partners.
