Job summary

Pentamaster Corporation Berhad in Penang is seeking an electronics design engineer to develop analog and high-speed measurement cards/modules. You will turn concepts into schematics, layout PCBs, prototype, test, and qualify products for customer specs.

Responsibilities include design documentation, technical reviews, and collaboration with management on project updates. The candidate should have solid hands-on hardware experience and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in analog/high-speed measurement circuits is preferred.
• Staff/Manager level: 8–10 years in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Turn electronic design into schematic, PCB layout and final working product.
• Research, design, prototype build, testing and debugging, product qualification.
• Prepare technical documents for design reviews and project updates.
• Involve in other technical tasks as directed by upper management.

Job description

To design and develop product that meet customer requirement. Mainly focus on the Analog, High Speed Measurement Card/Module Design.

Responsibilities

• Turn electronic design into schematic, PCB layout, and finally working product that meet product specification.
• Research, Design, Prototype build, Testing and Debugging, Product qualification.
• Prepare technical document for design review and project update.
• Involve in other technical related work as directed by upper management or required by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master or PhD of Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

Required Skills

• Must have strong knowledge in Electronics fundamental.
• Must have experience in electronic design.
• Knowledge in schematic, PCB layout and circuit board troubleshooting.
• Hand-on in electronic or hardware design experience in university/college or current work.
• For Staff / Manager position: Minimum 8-10 years in relevant field.
• Knowledge and Experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is advantage.
• Able to turn electronic design into schematic, PCB layout, debug, and final working product.
• Able to performance test and measurement and soldering.
• Ability to Communicate with all levels.
• Able to work independently, good analytical and problem-solving skill.
• Must be creative, innovative, resourceful, self-discipline and eager to learn new thing.
