Job description

Responsibilities

Use industry standard electrical design tools to design, simulate, and verify board level analog circuits for test and measurement applications.

  • Linear power supplies
  • Switched mode power supplies (DC–DC)
  • High precision/highspeed analog front ends (including ADCs, DACs, amplifiers)

Perform schematic capture, simulation, analysis, and lab-based validation of analog circuits.

Product Development & Execution

Work with project teams to translate requirements into detailed specifications and implement designs that meet performance, cost, and reliability targets.

Drive your assigned technical deliverables to completion, ensuring high quality execution throughout design, layout, and system integration.

Participate in design reviews, contribute to root‑cause analyses, and support resolution of field‑found issues.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with PCB designers, system engineers, manufacturing partners, and component suppliers to ensure successful product delivery.

Support system‑level bring‑up and debug in both lab and production environments.

Provide clear documentation of designs, analysis, and validation results.

Additional Responsibilities

Support project planning by providing accurate technical estimates and identifying risks.

Occasionally travel (up to 10%) domestically and internationally to support manufacturing, validation, or cross‑team engagements.

Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in analog hardware development.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics fundamentals.
  • Hands‑on experience designing, verifying, and debugging analog circuits at the board level.
  • Proficiency with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., LTSpice, Maple, Mathcad Prime).
  • Proficiency with schematic capture environments.
  • PCB design knowledge and experience collaborating closely with layout teams.
  • Proficient use of lab equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, DMMs, SMUs, etc.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced development environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose circuit and system level issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing test and measurement products.
  • System‑level bring‑up/debug skills in a lab or production environment.
  • Familiarity with designing for manufacturability and reliability.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and cross‑functional stakeholders.
