Job summary

Exis Tech Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer to join our growing team in Malaysia. The role involves configuring electrical drawings and I/O lists, researching new features to improve product performance, and supporting production, service teams, and end-users with hardware-related needs.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics engineering, has 2–4 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in Malay, Mandarin, and English.

Qualifications

• Requires a Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2-4 years of related industry experience; fresh graduates with initiative encouraged.
• Languages: Malay, Mandarin, and English (written & spoken); Mandarin fluency a plus.
• Good programming knowledge with preference for PLC.
• Solid understanding of electrical/electronic circuits, digital logic, I/O interfaces, micro-controllers, and automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities; ability to work independently.
• Willing to work overtime and travel overseas when required.

Responsibilities

• Configure and prepare standard and non-standard electrical drawings and I/O lists per specifications.
• R&D new features to enhance product performance.
• Analyze design requirements and evaluate performance to meet targets.
• Provide hardware-related support and training to production, customer service and end-users.
• Maintain electrical drawings, I/O lists, motor parameters, and version control.
• Manage customer and field service engineer requests and parts returns.
• Oversee machine BOM management and assist sales inquiries for conversions.
