Job summary

JLL is seeking a Hard Services Lead in Malaysia to manage technical building systems and lead a mobile technician team. You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems, ensuring optimal performance and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on expertise, strong leadership, and a focus on preventive maintenance, safety procedures, and documentation to support facility operations and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Building Services or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or technical services; at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
• HVAC, electrical, and plumbing system knowledge; building automation familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of hard services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and BMS.
• Supervise the mobile technician, assign tasks, and oversee performance.
• Monitor Building Management Systems and coordinate maintenance to optimize energy efficiency.
• Coordinate with specialized contractors, obtain quotes, and ensure safety compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian codes, OSHA, and local regulations; manage safety procedures.
