Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on SEO Specialist to improve our website's organic visibility and drive qualified traffic and inquiries. You will own SEO planning, execution and performance reporting, focusing on practical improvements with measurable outcomes.

With 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, you will manage technical and on-page optimization, content briefs, and ethical link earning. Proficiency in GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush, and WordPress/Shopify is preferred.

At least 2 years hands‑on SEO experience with measurable results.
Practical knowledge of technical and on‑page SEO and ethical link building.
Experience with GSC and GA4, plus tools like Ahrefs/Semrush.

Responsibilities

Conduct SEO audits and plan actions for technical SEO, on‑page SEO and content opportunities.
Perform keyword research, search intent analysis and competitor research to spot growth opportunities.
Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, site structure and content.
Identify crawling, indexing, redirects, canonical issues and coordinate fixes with developers.
Develop SEO content briefs and work with contributors to improve pages.
Identify outreach and link‑earning opportunities in line with Google's policies.
Monitor performance using GSC, GA4 and SEO tools; track clicks, traffic quality and conversions.
Prepare monthly reports explaining results, issues, and next steps.
Stay updated with search engine updates and assess implications.
