Job summary

PAYOK is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting function for Malaysia operations. The role covers day-to-day accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, tax compliance, payroll coordination and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will work independently with strong attention to detail, and will partner with the Country Manager to provide financial insights and strategic input for pricing and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• ACCA/CPA/CIMA/MIA qualification preferred.
• 4-5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Experience in a medium-sized or fast-growing business.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on with month-end closing, reporting, budgeting and cash-flow.
• ERP/accounting systems experience and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle including AP, AR, GL and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Review P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Coordinate annual audit with external auditors.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Drive process improvements and internal controls.
