Job summary

INDUSTRI MAKANAN JATI SDN. BHD. is seeking aQuality Assurance/Quality Control professional to guide the production team on Halal, GMP, and HACCP compliance in our Shah Alam facility.

The role includes leading internal audits, certification management, and continuous process improvement to ensure product safety and quality. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/degree in Food Technology or related field, has Halal Executive certification, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in a food

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Science, Halal Industry or related biology field.
• Halal Executive certification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with Halal certification requirements by JAKIM.
• Good GMP and HACCP knowledge.
• Experience with documentation and audit processes.
• Experience verifying Halal certificates for raw materials and finished products.

Responsibilities

• Guide the production team on quality control issues to improve product quality.
• Supervise production areas daily and ensure SOP compliance.
• Prepare and update standard operating procedures.
• Compile data and report performance of Halal, HACCP, MeSTI, GMP.
• Conduct hygiene inspections of premises and equipment.
• Evaluate and resolve in-house quality issues; lead quality improvement discussions.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and renew Halal/F&B certificates for products.
• Conduct internal audits (HACCP, Halal, MeSTI, GMP).
• Monitor CCP in production and coordinate calibration.
• Provide training to production team.
• Oversee pest control activities monthly.
