Job summary

Sunway Velocity Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Purchasing cum Halal Executive to support the Purchasing Manager in daily purchasing operations and sourcing for the hotel. The role also oversees Halal administration and participates in internal audits to ensure compliance with Halal standards.

Candidates should have a Diploma in Finance, Procurement, or related field, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and strong integrity, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance, Procurement, or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, finance, halal compliance or hotel operations.
• Basic knowledge of Malaysia Halal Compliance.
• High integrity, maturity, professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing Manager in daily purchasing operations and sourcing for the hotel.
• Oversee administrative Halal work for Sunway Velocity Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
• Conduct internal halal audits to ensure compliance with Halal standards.
