Job summary

Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil is seeking a Host - Safety & Security to join our team. You will patrol Front of House and Plant Rooms, monitor safety systems, and assist guests and other staff as needed while upholding Hyatt standards of service.

The role is hourly/entry level and full-time, open to local candidates in Malaysia. You will report to the hotel Safety & Security Manager and participate in safety trainings and drills.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel security, safety, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous and professional service at all times.
• Assists with Host duties as required due to operational needs.
• Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions and good working relationships.
• Handles guest and associate enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner with prompt follow-up.
• Patrols front of house, back of house and plant rooms to ensure safety, security and comfort for guests and colleagues.
• Patrols public areas to detect fires and unsafe conditions and checks safety equipment.
• Reports abnormal conditions to supervisor and assists in emergency procedures including fire and life safety.
