Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites Kota Kinabalu Sabah is seeking a full-time Reservations Clerk to handle reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail. You will identify guest needs, verify room availability, explain policies, and input data into the reservation system.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold Marriott standards while supporting a cooperative team environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with no prior work experience required.

Qualifications

• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine room type.
• Verify availability and explain guarantee, rates, and cancellation policies.
• Input and access data in the reservation system.
• Follow policies; maintain confidentiality and professional appearance.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Move, lift and place objects weighing ≤10 pounds; perform other duties as requested.
