Job summary

Bertam Resort in Penang is seeking a friendly Front Desk Officer to join our front office team. You will greet guests, manage check-in and check-out, handle reservations and respond to guest requests with professional, service-minded courtesy.

This full-time position requires good communication, a diploma in hospitality or related field, and the ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays on site at Bertam Resort.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality or related field is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident and guest-oriented personality.
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of hotel systems is an advantage.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests throughout their stay.
• Handle guest check-in and check-out efficiently.
• Attend to reservations, telephone enquiries and guest requests.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments on guest requirements.
• Maintain professional Front Office and guest service standards.
