Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a security guard to report for daily briefing, patrol premises, monitor access, and respond to emergencies. You will maintain security records, inspect packages, and ensure the safety of guests and employees while upholding a positive image with building owners and visitors.

Duty includes guarding entrances, monitoring car parks, and carrying out tasks assigned by superiors, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty 15 minutes before start of daily shifts for daily briefing.
• Be at post deployed at all times unless replaced.
• Report any incident to Control room and Senior Guard.
• Patrol residential and commercial premises to prevent/detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates.
• Maintain all security record books at post.
• Monitor and check car park.
• Be aware and observant within the vicinity area.
• Respond to emergencies including fire and medical assistance.
• Monitor and authorize entrance/ departure of employees, visitors and others to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Oversee inspection of all packages entering/exiting the building.
• Ensure safety and security of guests and employees.
• Protect property and assets.
• Look for lost items belonging to staff or the public.
• Professionally handle all sensitive and confidential information.
• Present a positive image and maintain good relations with building owners, tenants and visitors.
• Carry out any task as required by the superior.
