Job summary

MR D.I.Y Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated strategy professional to support planning and operational excellence across existing and international expansion activities. The role involves creating and iterating scalable concepts, and managing a portfolio of opportunities to drive value.

You will build financial models, analyze scenarios, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to market intelligence to inform growth decisions. Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years in finance, management consulting, strategy or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical, arithmetic, commercial and execution skills.
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, Bloomberg, Capital IQ; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning and operational excellence of existing businesses and expansion activities.
• Support to launch, iterate and scale new concepts/revenue streams or growth projects.
• Help manage portfolio of investee companies to deliver deal value.
• Identify strategic issues and opportunities influencing growth and profitability.
• Develop market intelligence and research on industries, markets, competitors, and regulation.
• Build financial models and provide analysis for business cases, funding plans, and risk scenarios.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives and meet timelines.
• Support ad-hoc special projects for top management as required.
