Job summary

DKSH Malaysia is looking for a Manager, Client Management to oversee key client accounts and drive sustainable growth for Consumer Goods clients. You will be the primary DKSH representative, ensuring operational excellence, resolving service issues, and strengthening long-term client partnerships.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration, manage budgets, develop plans with clients, monitor KPIs, and guide a team to deliver agreed targets in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent degree.
• Minimum 5 years in a client management role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong client management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven project management abilities and analytical background.
• Cultural awareness for cross-country and cross-cultural interactions.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental operating budgets and costs in line with annual allocations to ensure efficient and accountable use of resources.
• Develop business and marketing plans in close coordination with clients to achieve overall business objectives and drive sustainable profitability.
• Gather and report client operational results against KPIs defined in SLAs, ensuring performance transparency and accountability.
• Identify and explore opportunities for new product introductions and product expansion, while managing the contract renewal process to protect and grow client relationships.
• Take decisive and timely action to resolve clients' operational issues and service complaints, ensuring consistently high levels of client satisfaction.
• Plan and manage regular business communications and business review meetings with clients' management teams to maintain strategic alignment and drive joint outcomes.
• Act as the frontline DKSH representative with client management teams to facilitate timely resolution of ad hoc operational issues, escalating to senior management as appropriate and communicating all relevant matters effectively.
• Manage and oversee team delivery of function goals, driving consistent execution and accountability against agreed targets.
• Champion team learning and development in Client Management practices and DKSH values, while pursuing continuous self-improvement to lead by example.
