Job summary

PRISM+ Malaysia is expanding its retail division and seeks a passionate Assistant Retail Store Manager. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales targets, train staff, and ensure excellent customer service.

The role requires at least 3 years of managerial experience in retail, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to analyze data for stock forecasting. This on-site position offers growth within a high-growth electronics company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the retail industry.
• Well versed in retail store processes and systems.
• Data-driven with ability to analyse data for stocks forecasting.
• Prior experience in malls landlord relations.
• Proficient in Excel/ PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manages, counts, verifies, and reconciles daily cash register sales.
• Greets customers in a courteous and professional manner, while providing quality customer service and product recommendations.
• Performs opening and closing procedures according to store policies.
• Processes and replenish merchandise and ensures stock availability.
• Co-leads retail team to maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness standards.
• Creates a positive work environment by motivating and encouraging the team to foster good relationships.
• Responsible for training new employees.
• Sets and monitors retail sales targets to drive improvement in company ranking.
• Provides timely sales reports and analysis, flagging risks regarding shortfalls.
