Job summary

Haskell APAC seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer I/II to contribute to conceptual and detailed designs for building projects, focusing on HVAC and plumbing systems. You will develop design bases, load calculations, equipment schedules, and construction documents while coordinating with owners and project teams across locations.

Requirements include a mechanical engineering degree and 2–5 years of related experience; professional licensure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution; fresh graduates welcome.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical building services design (HVAC, plumbing).
• Ability to work with international teams on overseas projects is an advantage.
• Registered Professional Engineer or green mark is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual and detailed mechanical design for building projects.
• Develop design basis, load calculations and equipment scheduling.
• Prepare construction documents including drawings and sequences of operation.
• Coordinate with project teams and manage budget/time on assignments.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure designs meet codes and standards.
