Job summary

TikTok is seeking an experienced on-site Operations Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead and optimize a 100+ strong in-house team. You will own workforce planning, discipline, and performance systems, while driving AI-enabled transformation to raise efficiency and quality.

The role requires Mandarin and English fluency, with full-time availability in Malaysia. You will collaborate with the Search Operations team and HQ to implement operational strategies, monitor metrics, and ensure scalable site

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management experience leading in-house full-time teams with 100+ employees.
• Proficient in workforce management, on-site supervision and performance systems for large teams; strong data analysis and process optimization.
• Digital and AI operation mindset with experience implementing intelligent tools and optimization projects.
• Strong coordination, leadership, stress tolerance; able to own end-to-end site operation results.
• Bachelor’s degree or above; flexible qualifications for rich experience.
• Fluency in Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, plus English as working language.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce scheduling, resource allocation, and talent pipeline for 100+ team; adjust staffing dynamically.
• Establish site operation rules, attendance policies, and reward/penalty systems; ensure disciplined environment.
• Review core metrics: productivity, accuracy, output, and error rate; identify bottlenecks and optimize processes.
• Oversee AI tools, automated workflows, and digital transformation on site to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage performance appraisal, incentives, training, retention; build backbone talent pipelines.
• Prepare regular operation performance reports; collaborate with HQ and cross-functional teams.
