Job summary

Maybank is seeking a proactive Analyst to support the Group Investor Relations team in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist in planning and executing investor engagements, prepare meeting materials, and maintain timely information flows with investors.

You will conduct market research on Maybank and peers, monitor equity research and investor sentiment, and contribute to quarterly results, annual reports and AGM disclosures, ensuring clear communication with the investment community.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of financial statements and financial markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of investor relations engagements, including investor meetings, conferences, roadshows and analyst briefings.
• Conduct market research and analysis on Maybank, peer banks, industry developments and emerging market trends to support management decision-making.
• Monitor and analyse equity research reports, shareholder developments and investor sentiment relating to the Group and the banking sector.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly results announcements, analyst presentation materials, management reports and investor communication materials.
• Support the development of Maybank Group's Annual Report, AGM materials and other key corporate disclosures.
• Coordinate and support the credit rating engagements.
• Maintain and update investor relations databases, engagement records and the Investor Relations website to ensure timely and accurate information dissemination.
• Provide day-to-day operational and analytical support to the Group Investor Relations team, including responding to investor queries, preparing presentations and supporting strategic initiatives.
