Job summary

Tan Chong Group is seeking an experienced investigator to support the Group Investigation and Digital Forensic Services. You will collate information on fraud and malpractices, plan investigations, secure evidence, interview involved parties, and prepare formal reports for internal or legal proceedings.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Law, Investigation or related studies and a minimum of five years’ relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant fields.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in investigations or related roles.
• Familiar with investigation procedures and case management.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Department by collating and distributing information on frauds, malpractices from hotlines and other sources.
• Undertake assigned investigation cases with reporting to Head of GIFS; plan investigation strategy and techniques.
• Execute investigations per Conduct of Investigation procedures; secure evidence and interview parties.
• Develop investigation strategy and techniques; document findings systematically.
• Prepare investigation reports and recommend corrective actions; file police reports when required.
• Attend Domestic Inquiries or court cases as needed.
• Assist in ongoing GIFS development, standards, manuals, tools and training aids.
• Support Head of GIFS in administration and other tasks as directed.
