Job summary

MVC Resources seeks a Group Sustainability, Risk & Compliance Manager to lead ESG, enterprise risk management, and regulatory compliance for the group. You will report to the CFO and drive governance frameworks across the Bursa Malaysia and ISO landscapes.

The role requires a decade of senior experience in risk, compliance or sustainability, with a strong financial acumen and stakeholder management skills to engage the Board and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Risk Management.
• Professional qualification ACCA/CPA/MICPA preferred.
• At least 10 years in risk management, compliance or sustainability.
• Deep familiarity with IFRS S1/S2 and Bursa Malaysia regulations.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 and corporate governance practices.
• Strong financial literacy and governance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERM framework development and monitoring with risk registers.
• Oversee sustainability reporting aligned with IFRS S1/S2, GRI, Bursa Malaysia.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with MACC Section 17A, Companies Act, listing rules.
• Coordinate QMS & ISO audits with QA and EHS teams.
• Present risk and ESG insights to Board and committees.
• Strengthen internal controls and process transparency.
• Align sustainability and risk with financial objectives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Risk Management

Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA)

Experience in risk management/compliance/sustainability

IFRS S1/S2 familiarity

Bursa Malaysia regulations knowledge

ISO 9001/14001 knowledge

Strong financial literacy
