Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced and analytical Group Consolidation & Reporting Manager to oversee end-to-end financial consolidation, group reporting, and regulatory compliance across entities. This role ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of consolidated financial statements and management reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a recognized professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, etc.).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in group consolidation or external audit.
• Deep knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, and group accounting mechanics.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation with intercompany eliminations and currency translation.
• Ensure group-wide compliance with MFRS/IFRS and internal reporting policies.
• Oversee consolidated budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors and optimize audit timelines.
• Drive reporting automation, system enhancements, and internal controls.
• Perform additional accounting and reporting tasks as required by management.

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of consolidated financial statements, management reports, and statutory audits across group entities.

What You’ll Do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and financial reporting.
• Ensure group-wide compliance with MFRS/IFRS and Group reporting policies.
• Consolidated annual budgeting, forecasting, and management performance analysis.
• Lead interactions with external auditors and optimize audit timelines.
• Drive reporting automation, system enhancements, and internal control improvements.
• Perform other accounting, reporting, and ad hoc assignments as required by Management

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, etc.).
