Job summary

IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking an experienced Group Consolidation & Reporting Manager to oversee end-to-end financial consolidation, group reporting, and compliance across group entities.

You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation, ensure MFRS/IFRS compliance, coordinate with external auditors, and drive automation and internal controls to improve accuracy and timeliness of reports. The role requires strong analytical skills and a track record of meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in group consolidation or external audit.
• Deep knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and group accounting mechanics.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Group Consolidation & Reporting Manager to oversee the end-to-end financial consolidation, group reporting, and financial compliance processes. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of consolidated financial statements, management reports, and statutory audits across group entities.

What You’ll Do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and financial reporting.
• Ensure group-wide compliance with MFRS/IFRS and Group reporting policies.
• Consolidated annual budgeting, forecasting, and management performance analysis.
• Lead interactions with external auditors and optimize audit timelines.
• Drive reporting automation, system enhancements, and internal control improvements.
• Perform other accounting, reporting, and ad hoc assignments as required by Management

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, etc.).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in group consolidation or external audit.
• Deep knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, and group accounting mechanics.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
