Job summary

Sunshine Wholesale Mart serves as a grocery retail arm in Malaysia and is expanding its offline and online operations. We are seeking a hands-on Grocery Department supervisor to manage daily operations, ensure workflow, and uphold food safety standards.

You will monitor sales, inventory accuracy and merchandising, while coordinating with suppliers and supervising staff to deliver excellent customer service. Shift work and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in supermarket, hypermarket, grocery or FMCG retail.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of stock control and merchandising.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• Ensure proper merchandising, product display and promotional execution.
• Monitor stock levels, FIFO, expiry, wastage and shrinkage.
• Coordinate with suppliers and Procurement for replenishment and delivery.
• Supervise, schedule and coach department staff.
• Ensure good customer service, cleanliness, food safety and SOP compliance.

Requirements:

Competitive salary with overtime (OT) pay. (shift schedule based on store operating hours).
