Job summary

HPMT Industries Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam seeks a creative Graphic Designer to translate complex technical content into clear visuals for customers worldwide, with a focus on Europe. You will join the Marketing team, shaping campaigns, catalogs, digital assets and event visuals that represent our precision cutting tools.

You will own concepts from idea to finished artwork, collaborate with Product and R&D, and ensure print and digital materials align with brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of graphic design experience.
• Fresh graduates with strong design skills are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Able to edit short videos and create simple motion graphics.
• Strong sense of layout, typography and colour with attention to detail.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Communicates clearly and takes feedback from Marketing, Sales, Product and R&D.
• Good written and spoken English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Organised and dependable, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

You may not know HPMT yet, but our precision cutting tools are used in aerospace, automotive and advanced manufacturing, and sold in more than 35 countries, with Europe as our main market. As our Graphic Designer, you will create the marketing materials, digital campaigns and event visuals that represent HPMT to the world.

You will join our Marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Manager. Your work is produced and shown to customers around the world, especially in Europe.

What you will do

Create

Design marketing collateral such as catalogues, brochures, infographics and sales kits.

Create event materials and point-of-sale materials (POSM), such as posters, backdrops and banners, for trade shows, open houses and other events.

Design visuals for digital campaigns, social media, our website and ads on LinkedIn, Meta and Google.

Build presentation slides for the Sales team, webinars and product launches.

Edit short videos and simple motion graphics for social media.

Prepare simple graphics and product images for our online platforms.

Turn technical product information into clear, easy-to-understand visuals.

Work with Product and R&D to bring their ideas and concepts to life.

Work with printers and vendors so that print and event materials are delivered right and on time.

Deliver

Keep our brand consistent across all materials, and help refine our brand guidelines as we grow.

Manage several projects at once, take feedback and keep design files well organised.

Use AI tools to speed up routine work, so you have more time for creative thinking.

What we are looking for

Must have

2+ years of graphic design experience. Fresh graduates with strong design skills are welcome to apply.

Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.

Able to edit short videos and create simple motion graphics for social media, for example cutting clips, adding text and captions, and animating posts, using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar tools.

Strong sense of layout, typography and colour, with attention to detail.

Works independently. Able to take a brief, make sound decisions and deliver on time with little supervision.

Communicates clearly. Able to explain your ideas and take feedback from Marketing, Sales, Product and R&D.

Comfortable working within brand guidelines and stakeholder requirements, while still bringing your own creative ideas.

Good written and spoken English. Mandarin is an added advantage.

Organised and dependable, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Experience with AI design tools.

Interest in engineering, manufacturing or technical products. No prior knowledge needed, you will learn on the job.
