About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team at Hot Print Media PLT in Puchong, Selangor & Penang Island. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our creative department. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising and producing compelling visual content that meets our clients' brand objectives and marketing goals. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our clients' campaigns and the reputation of Hot Print Media PLT as a leader in design excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Create original and innovative graphic designs for various print and digital media, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, and packaging materials
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audiences
• Develop design concepts and present multiple creative solutions for client approval
• Incorporate client feedback and revisions to ensure final designs meet expectations and brand guidelines
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously whilst maintaining high quality standards and meeting project deadlines
• Maintain consistent brand identity and visual coherence across all design deliverables
• Prepare files for print production, ensuring all designs are optimised for printing specifications and colour accuracy
• Stay updated with current design trends, tools, and industry best practices
• Collaborate with the production team to resolve any design-related issues during the printing process
• Assist in building and maintaining a portfolio of completed projects

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant design tools
• Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Proven portfolio demonstrating creative excellence, diversity of design styles, and successful project outcomes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of print production processes and specifications
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to design challenges
• Familiarity with digital design and web design principles is advantageous
• Experience with video editing or motion graphics is a plus
