Job summary

Nine G Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Manager in Malaysia to lead graphene production operations, oversee machinery, and drive scale-up from validated processes to full-scale output.

You will work closely with the technical/R&D and engineering teams, sit on the Management Committee, and mentor a growing production team while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory readiness in a startup-to-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in graphene, advanced materials or nanomaterials production.
• 3–5+ years hands-on production/manufacturing experience with scale-up exposure.
• Strong troubleshooting on floor machinery and processes.
• Experience preparing production reports and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in materials manufacturing.
• Startup-to-growth environment with high ownership and adaptability.
• Open to Malaysian citizens only.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day graphene production operations with throughput, quality and yield targets.
• Oversee and troubleshoot production machinery for uptime and calibration.
• Own production process execution—repeatable, safe and scalable.
• Collaborate with R&D to transfer lab processes to full-scale production.
• Establish and maintain SOPs, safety protocols and quality docs.
• Support regulatory readiness related to materials production.
• Review production reports and technical documentation for stakeholders.
• Sit on Management Committee representing production in strategic discussions.
• Supervise and develop production team; foster safety, quality and accountability.
• Manage petty cash and operational spend reporting to management.
