Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a graduate to join their HR operations payroll team in Malaysia. You will be involved in end-to-end monthly payroll processing, data validation, and regulatory reporting, while supporting process improvements and audits.

You will collaborate with HR Partners and the HR Operations team to enhance the employee experience and ensure compliance with policies and local regulations. Availability by year-end onboarding is requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in any field of study
• Sensitivity to numbers and are comfortable working with data
• Good collaborator and team player
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Preferred Qualification- Basic understanding of payroll processes is a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly end-to-end payroll activities such as collating and validating inputs, outputs and statutory reporting
• Participate in the improvement and implementation of payroll processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Support payroll and benefit processes landing according to new policies or law and regulation changes
• Provide payroll reporting & analysis and assist with internal and external audits
• Manage payroll vendors effectively by strictly adhering to the contract and SLA
• Develop relationships with local authorities, not limited to Social Security, Tax, etc
• Partner and work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and the HR Operations team to elevate employee experience
