Job summary

TOTAL Deutschland GmbH is seeking an engineering graduate to join the Production Methods team in Malaysia. You will gain hands-on exposure to wells integrity, production operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives that support safe offshore production.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in chemical, instrumentation and control, or mechanical engineering, with strong analytical skills and English fluency. Power BI and MS Office proficiency are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, instrumentation & control or mechanical engineering.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good MS Office skills; Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support wells integrity actions and deliverables with guidance.
• Maintain wells integrity and performance dashboard.
• Follow up on production support requirements for offshore operations.
• Assist development of production procedures under guidance.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore stakeholders under pressure.
• Produce deliverables meeting standards within time and budget.

Are you a recent Engineering Graduate looking to build a career in the energy industry? Join our Production Methods team and gain hands-on exposure to wells integrity, production operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives that support safe and sustainable offshore operations.

HSE Compliance & Safety Leadership

• Actively participate in Company HSE programs and demonstrate strong adherence to Company HSE policies and objectives.
• Activity participates and contributes to Company HSE and Sustainability improvement initiatives.

Wells Integrity

• Support WILE in following up on wells integrity actions (and be responsible for some deliverables with guidance).
• Maintaining wells integrity and performance dashboard.

Production Support

• Follow up on production support requirements to ensure safe continuous offshore operations.
• Support management of production contracts.
• Support development of Company Management System procedures related to production operations (with guidance).

General

• Support Wells and Topsides production issues troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with Company rules, standards and requirements when producing all deliverables under assigned responsibility.

Context and Environment

• Closely collaborate and build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds (onshore and offshore).
• Working under pressure and delivering under tight timeline to support safe continuous production.

Accountabilities:

• Produce deliverables assigned under responsibility that meets the required standards (compliance with Company operating requirements) within the allocated time and budget (if applicable), with minimal supervision.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Instrumentation and Control or Mechanical Engineering. Technical Competencies.
• Good technical knowledge especially in Oil and Gas industry in general (wells and/or Topsides production).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Power BI is added advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
