Job summary

AIA Malaysia is seeking a Business Governance Specialist in Kuala Lumpur to strengthen the Partnership Distribution control framework. You will assess risk indicators, monitor customer fact find and welcome calls, and uphold the Business Quality and Governance framework across bancassurance.

The role emphasizes data analytics, reporting, and close collaboration with Compliance, Sales, and regulators to drive improvements in controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate data analytics skills required.
• Degree holder in Business Administration, Statistics or Insurance with at least 5 years of experience in insurance.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assess and report abnormal trends in customer fact find and welcome calls.
• Spearhead the First Line of Defense to monitor bank sales staff and minimize misconduct.
• Prepare monthly Complaints Statistics and MCC minutes; support governance reviews.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Audit and regulators to close gaps and improve governance.
