Job summary

CCK Consolidated Holdings Berhad is seeking aReceiving Clerk to inspect goods on arrival and confirm accuracy against Packing List, DO and PO. You will receive items, store them properly, and update the inventory system accordingly.

You will ensure that products match documents during unloading, help with disposal and recalls when needed, and work to keep shelves stocked and organized while communicating with vendors about order status.

Qualifications

• Education: SPM and above / Certificate / Diploma.
• Experience: 1–2 years in a receiving or similar role.
• Skills: Basic numeracy and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect quality of all goods delivered to the supermarket and ensure they match Packing List, DO and PO.
• Receive goods and store them properly for distribution to sections or storage area.
• Accurately enter and maintain records in the inventory system.
• Ensure received goods match PO/DO/Packing List upon unloading and assist with goods disposal and recalls as needed.
• Monitor delivery, storage and distribution to ensure on-time arrivals and proper stocking.
• Communicate with vendors regarding order status and resolve issues.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves and keep all stocks well organized within set time frames.
• Identify problems and promptly report to supervisor or department head.

Job description

Inspect quality of all goods delivered to the supermarket before they are sent to the selling floor or storage area.

Verify that delivered goods match the Packing List, Delivery Order (DO), and Purchase Order (PO).

Receive goods and materials ordered, then properly store and distribute them to individual sections.

Accurately key in and maintain records in the inventory system.

Ensure the correct merchandise is received and properly accounted for with high accuracy.

Monitor delivery, storage, and distribution to ensure goods are delivered on time.

Communicate with vendors regarding order status and resolve any issues.

Comply with all receiving and returning policies and procedures.

Be familiar with goods disposal procedures and product recall processes.

Unload trucks, stock shelves, and keep all stocks well organised.

Perform all tasks within a set time frame.

Identify problems and promptly report issues to superior or department head.

Ensure received goods match PO/DO/Packing List upon unloading.

Facilitate the return of damaged products and goods

The integrated supply chain consists of breeder, hatchery and boiler farms. Our poultry abattoir is fully equipped with coldstorage facilities and full logistics set-up. The poultry division is well-equipped with the latest breeding farm technologies, computer-controlled hatching chambers and automated abattoir, capable of processing approximately 4,000 birds per hour. Currently we process 20,000 to 25,000 birds per day.

Our abattoir is the only poultry abattoir in Sarawak with a HACCP certification from the Malaysian Government, thus poised to supply both domestic and international consumers with good wholesome chicken meat economically. We are awarded the Certificates of Halal by the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia) and Sarawak Islamic Council (Majlis Islam Sarawak).

We have 40 wholesale and retail stores, trading departments as well as factories throughout Sarawak, Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia.
