Job summary

CCK Consolidated Holdings Berhad is seeking an Area Officer to oversee retail operations across outlets in Sarawak. You will enforce CMS implementation, monitor CAP procedures, and assist in promotional programmes to drive sales while safeguarding processes.

The role requires a degree or diploma with relevant experience, strong analytical and cash-management skills, and the ability to review P&L reports and take corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2+ years relevant experience, or Diploma with 2 years as Area Officer.
• Retail operations experience and cash control preferred.
• Familiar with P&L reporting and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Enforce CMS implementation in outlets to minimize risk to retail ops.
• Monitor CAP procedures amongst retail team.
• Prepare and execute promotional programmes.
• Control and monitor cash collection, inventory, equipment, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor debtors aging and debt collection.
• Perform routine audits on retail operations to ensure compliance.
• Assist AM/AAM with other operations as assigned.
• Analyze retail operation reports and apply corrective actions.

Job description

Control and monitor cash collection, retail inventory, equipment & customer satisfaction.

Monitor debtors aging and debt collection.

Perform routine audit on retail operation to safeguard and ensure policies and regulation are being adhered to.

To provide necessary assistance to AM/AAM to handle other operational activities as assigned.

CCK Consolidated Holdings Berhad (“CCK”) was established on 5 August 1996 as an investment holding company and was listed on the Second Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 10 December 1997. The CCK Group is the collective name for CCK and its subsidiaries, with the principal activities of poultry, seafood, trading and transportation.

The integrated supply chain consists of breeder, hatchery and boiler farms. Our poultry abattoir is fully equipped with coldstorage facilities and full logistics set-up. The poultry division is well-equipped with the latest breeding farm technologies, computer-controlled hatching chambers and automated abattoir, capable of processing approximately 4,000 birds per hour. Currently we process 20,000 to 25,000 birds per day.

Our abattoir is the only poultry abattoir in Sarawak with a HACCP certification from the Malaysian Government, thus poised to supply both domestic and international consumers with good wholesome chicken meat economically. We are awarded the Certificates of Halal by the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia) and Sarawak Islamic Council (Majlis Islam Sarawak).

We have 40 wholesale and retail stores, trading departments as well as factories throughout Sarawak, Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia.
