Job summary

Eastwood Valley Golf & Country Club is seeking a shift-based golf operations supervisor to manage daily activities at the clubhouse, golf course and driving range, ensuring smooth, safe and friendly service for members and guests. You will open, close and hand over during your shift, brief staff, monitor tee-times and pace of play, maintain equipment and handle guest inquiries.

Excellent communication and adherence to SOPs are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of daily golf operations during the assigned shift, including opening, closing and handover.
• Conduct a short staff briefing and assign team members to the reception, starter, marshal, buggy and driving range areas.
• Check tee-time bookings, golfer registration, starter control and pace of play to avoid delays and congestion.
• Ensure buggies, rental sets, trolleys, scorecards, golf balls and other equipment are clean, safe and ready for use.
• Monitor driving range bay readiness, ball collection, washing and replenishment, especially during peak hours.
• Attend to members and guests, handle complaints professionally and provide quick service recovery within the approved limit.
• Ensure golf charges, packages, vouchers and POS/cashless transactions are recorded correctly.
• Control buggy keys, golf balls, rental equipment, radios and operational stock; report any shortage or damage.
• Promote golf rounds, driving range products, lessons, memberships and resort services to increase revenue.
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, service standards and SOP compliance; coach staff when improvement is required.

About you

May reassign staff, adjust operational flow and stop unsafe equipment or activities during the shift.

Must immediately inform management of serious complaints, injuries, cash differences, security issues or business interruption.

Enforce golf, buggy, lightning, weather and safety procedures; stop any unsafe activity and report incidents immediately.

Coordinate tournaments and group bookings, liaise with other departments, and submit a complete end-of-shift duty report.
