Job summary

Ola Chat is hiring a Backend Engineer to craft scalable, high-performance backend systems. You will develop stable services using Go, review code, and optimize existing architectures in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires 3+ years in backend development, Linux/network programming knowledge, and bilingual English/Chinese communication. PHP experience is a plus as legacy code exists while most systems move to Go.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of backend development experience.
• Experience in Linux system programming and network programming; knowledge of TCP/IP.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese.
• PHP experience is a plus as legacy PHP code exists.

Responsibilities

• Use Go to develop stable, high-performance backend services.
• Improve code quality through unit testing, automation and code reviews.
• Continuously optimize and refactor existing systems to meet rapid business needs.
• Analyze requirements, summarize use cases and translate them into technical solutions.
