Job summary

Inchcape Shipping Services in Malaysia is seeking a Vessel Boarding Officer to coordinate on-site vessel arrivals and departures, ensuring compliance with port authorities, HSSE and ISPS procedures. The role acts as the primary on-site company representative, liaising with ship crews, government agencies, and service providers to ensure smooth documentation and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Attend vessels at berth to facilitate arrival, port stay and departure formalities.
• Coordinate with port authorities, immigration, customs, marine department and other agencies on clearances and inspections.
• Deliver and collect ship documents such as crew lists, clearance docs and cargo papers.
• Assist in crew changes including identity verification and immigration coordination.
• Ensure safety and security compliance (ISPS) on board and at port.
