Job summary

Western Digital in Malaysia is seeking a Global Trade Project Analyst III to lead and independently execute global trade and ERP-related projects. The role focuses on GTM and ERP system design, testing, and deployment, with close collaboration across Global Trade and IT functions.

You will track milestones, manage dependencies, and deliver process improvements. Strong communication and hands-on experience with GTM systems are essential for success in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in global trade compliance, import/export operations, ERP systems, or project-based roles.
• Advanced knowledge of global logistics operations, customs regulations, and trade compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Oracle GTM or similar Global Trade Management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and independently execute assigned global trade and ERP-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
• Define and document project scope, deliverables, requirements, tasks, and timelines aligned with Global Trade and enterprise objectives.
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into detailed process flows, functional specifications, and system designs for GTM and related ERP platforms.
• Track milestones, identify risks, and communicate issues and status updates to Global Trade Operations leadership.
• Liaise between Global Trade, IT, and external partners during configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
